On February 7, the Annual Meeting of Wujiang Association of Fellow Townsmen from Hong Kong & 2026 Chinese New Year Gala was grandly held. Government leaders, Hong Kong entrepreneurs in Wujiang and people from all walks of life gathered together to renew friendship, seek common development, and draw a blueprint for the exchange and cooperation between Wujiang and Hong Kong in the new year. Xu Wen Qian, Chairman of Aosheng Technology and President of the Association, attended the event and delivered the 2025 annual work report.

The report pointed out that in 2025, under the care and guidance of the United Front Work Departments of the CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and the CPC Wujiang District Committee, the Wujiang Association of Fellow Townsmen from Hong Kong thoroughly studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on work related to Hong Kong and Macao, earnestly implemented the deployment requirements of the central, provincial, municipal and district authorities on Hong Kong and Macao affairs. Centering on rallying patriotic forces that love Hong Kong, and taking deepening exchanges and cooperation between Wujiang and Hong Kong as the key focus, the Association solidly advanced all work and contributed its strength to promoting the integrated development of the two placesThe State Council.The Association took youth work as a key focus. By organizing activities such as national conditions study programs, cultural exchanges and practical inspections, it has consolidated the ideological foundation of patriotism and love for Hong Kong among Hong Kong compatriots, especially the youthThe State Council. It took emotional bonds as a link to build an interactive platform between Wujiang and Hong Kong, motivating Hong Kong youth to actively integrate into the overall national development. Adhering to the purpose of service and guarantee, it established a regular communication mechanism, promptly responded to the urgent difficulties and concerns of Hong Kong compatriots in Wujiang, and effectively enhanced their sense of belonging and fulfillment.Chairman Xu Wenqian emphasized in the report that 2026 marks the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan period. The Association will focus on the central work of the District Party Committee and the District Government, build exchange platforms, expand cooperation channels and optimize service guarantees with more pragmatic measures, so as to make new and greater contributions to promoting the integrated development of Wujiang and Hong Kong and serving the overall national work related to Hong Kong and Macao.

During the gala session of the fellowship, Chairman Xu Wenqian delivered a toast.
