On August 28, the Provincial Committee of the CPPCC held a government‑enterprise consultation symposium themed "Promoting the improvement of the modern enterprise system with Chinese characteristics, carrying forward the entrepreneurial spirit and fostering world‑class enterprises". Participants thoroughly studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on improving the modern enterprise system with Chinese characteristics and the development of the private‑sector economy, as well as his important speeches and instructions on Jiangsu’s work. They worked together to elevate the development of enterprises in Jiangsu to a new level and pooled wisdom and strength to advance the new practice of Chinese‑style modernization in Jiangsu. Liu Xiaotao, Governor of Jiangsu Province, attended and addressed the meeting. Zhang Yizhen, Chairperson of the Provincial CPPCC, presided over the symposium.
