On the afternoon of July 24, Aosheng Hi-Tech Portugal Co., Ltd. and INEGI (Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The two parties will cooperate on technological innovation for the recycling and circular utilization of composite materials, and jointly explore innovative pathways for the green and sustainable development of advanced composite materials.
Following the signing ceremony, led by Professor Nuno Correia, the Aosheng team visited INEGI’s research laboratories. The team gained a comprehensive understanding of its research platforms and innovative achievements in the fields of composite materials, advanced manufacturing, material testing, additive manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing. In-depth discussions were conducted focusing on the development trends of composite material recycling technology and prospective cooperation opportunities.
As one of the most influential scientific research institutions in the fields of composite materials and advanced manufacturing in Portugal, INEGI serves as a key innovation platform for engineering technology research and development, technology transfer and industrial cooperation in Portugal. Boasting strong scientific research capabilities in advanced materials, intelligent manufacturing, energy and engineering technology, it maintains long-term cooperative relationships with numerous universities, research institutions and world-renowned enterprises, and has extensive experience in promoting the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements.
In recent years, with the rapid development of new energy industries such as wind power, the large-scale application of composite materials has raised higher requirements for material recycling and circular economy. This cooperation will give full play to Aosheng’s practical experience in the industrialization of composite materials and INEGI’s advantages in scientific research innovation and technological research and development. Both parties will jointly promote research on technologies related to composite material recycling and circular utilization, accelerate the transformation of scientific research achievements into industrial applications, and provide innovative solutions for the green and low-carbon development and sustainable manufacturing of the industry.
